Hi, this is Subhas Mittra from New Delhi, India lovingly called Pinto by family members, as we have a tradition of giving two names, one used by near and dear ones at home and one for the outside world. Now, with hubpages it seems we are in an internet-driven global village and it makes me feel great that not only we can  closely connect with far away people but also read their thoughts and experiences.

I am from the medical field for the last 12 years and has varied experience with a keen interest to write vividly about the things I experience or see.

Also, I have great interest in experimenting with different kinds of food and tasting my palate. So, will surely try my hand out and write a few things about them.

Being a fitness freak, opens for me the arena of writing in this field and also being from the medical field, I can surely give a combo effect to my fitness journals. 

Having a few auto enthusiastic friends is enough to ignite the passion to write about few machines and their maneuverability. 

In my ealier job before 12 years, I was in a travelling job and has extensively into travelling and was enthralled to know similar but different we people and places are when it comes to culture, cuisine, costume and customs.  It has left me so spellbounded that I have made a decision to roam the world post retirement and know more.  Things have left so lasting impressions in my mind that I often read about different places and their habits and rituals.   I will remain incomplete if I will not share a few things with everyone.

I hope that hubpages will push me to the fore to discover more and more and hone my skill as a writer and smear myself with the world of knowledge.
