I WAS IN A LOOKOUT FOR INTERESTING ACTIVITIES THAT BURN CALORIES:
What prompted me to write this hub is that being a foodie I found it very difficult to have a flat stomach because exercise is so boring. So, I was in a lookout for some interesting activities that burn calories.
I cannot shun eating food items which I like. I would rather like to burn more calories than fasting and torturing my taste buds.
I cannot exercise because it is boring.
How to maintain weight or how to burn calories?? I was puzzled?
The answer is Punjabi Bhangra. Punjabi Bhangra is an Indian dance form, very easy to do the basic steps, very-very interesting, gripping, and engrossing, and the main thing about Bhangra is that it is the most calorie burning dance form. No other dance form can compete with it. Apart from calorie burning, it is a great cardiovascular (heart) exercise, so great way to keep you heart healthy.
So, the way to burn calorie is to just tune in to some top Punjabi Bhangra songs, enjoy the rhythm and start Bhangra dancing, burn calories, and stay in shape.
WHAT BHANGRA DANCE IS?
Bhangra dancing is a folk dancing form from the northern part of India. The region is called Punjab and hence called Punjabi Bhangra. This buoyant Punjabi dance from is originally performed during celebration time by Punjabi farmers who used to do Bhangra at the beginning of spring time and to celebrate their new harvest.
People from Punjab are called Sikhs and they have migrated to almost every part of world, so with them their dance form Bhangra has also travelled and could be found everywhere in the world. You can easily locate a Punjabi Bhangra teacher or school nearby and learn the steps.
HOW TO PERFORM PUNJABI BHANGRA:
Punjabis by nature are very vibrant and jolly in nature, so this dance form carry the essence of Punjab, i.e., it is very vibrant. First of all get some good Bhangra music.
